Italian language
While English is spoken by professors and fellow students at the university, international students are strongly advised to learn Italian before moving to Italy. Although research and publications can be in English, most classes are taught in Italian. In addition, daily life activities necessitate knowledge of the Italian language.
Upon enrollment in the doctoral program, international students can also register for Italian courses at the university language center.
